After the the Trump administration’s blatant abuse of power, it was clear that many Americans (including our own president) don’t know what the constitution actually says, leaving them vulnerable to abusive politicians (who often hold personal interest in that ignorance). Unfortunately, since the constitution is a dense document, many Americans will remain complacent during misuse of power. To better break down the document and subtly show how systemic biases influence how the law is applied, Justice for All, a roleplaying card game that encourages playing the bend the rules, was created. The game would best be used in a classroom, but will capture the attention of political science fans as well. No matter the audience, players should walk away understanding that the more privilege you hold, the more you can get away with in our modern society.
